Between Kevin Kipar’s rise to prominence in Clio Trophy Canarias, another victory for Dylan Léger in the French Junior Rallycross Championship, and outstanding performances in the Czech Republic, Finland, France, Italy, Lebanon and Sweden, the Clio range continues to excel on all surfaces !

Clio Trophy Canarias

Organised within the framework of the Canary Islands Tarmac Rally Championship, the Rally Ciudad de La Laguna saw Kevin Kipar and Raúl Sánchez claim their second consecutive Clio Trophy Canarias victory. The Tenerife native and his co-driver took the lead from the outset of round three of the season to finish 46.4s ahead of Walter Delgado and Miguel Reverón. Jesé Ramos and Alejandro Rivero completed the podium. With this success, Kevin Kipar and Raúl Sánchez extend their lead over Jesús Pérez and Aythami Díaz, who finished sixth at the weekend. The Rally Villa de Teror (26-27 September) hosts the next round.

French Junior Rallycross Championship

In a field consisting entirely of Clio RX cars at Kerlabo, Dylan Léger secured another victory before the summer break. Leading from the intermediate classification, he held off his rivals to win the seven-lap final. Gautier Sarhy and Thomas Quincé completed the podium. Dylan Léger will start the second half of the season at Loheac at the end of August with an 11-point lead over Gautier Sarhy and 13 points ahead of Kélig Gouesbet.

Czech Republic Rally Sprint Championship

Martin and František Končal led an all-Clio Rally5 RC5 podium at the Silmet Rally Příbram, round four of the national Rally Sprint Championship. Second in the same car, Jiří Hladík and Veronika Teplá extended their lead in the general classification ahead of the season’s final two rounds.

Lebanese Rally Championship

Clio Rally5 continued its flawless season on the Lebanese national scene. In the inaugural Batroun Rally, Tony Germanos and Joseph Kmeid monopolised the top times in RC5 to claim their third consecutive victory by more than ten minutes. Clio Rally3 was less successful, with Joseph Hindy and Vicken Kanledjian dominating the RC3 class before retiring in the penultimate special stage of the tarmac route around Batroun.

French Rally Cup

Several Clio Rally declinations impressed in events shared by the French Cup and the French Second Division Championship. Clio Rally3 won its class at the Tour Auto - Rallye de la Réunion, in the hands of Frédéric Chane-Kai and Grégory Martino, who also finished second in the Réunion Cup. On the same special stages, Clio Rally5 won its class with Romain and Anwaraah Sautron. At the same time, Clio Rally4 won Rally4 and finished in the top ten overall in the Martinique Rallye Tour with Jacques-Antoine Cabrisseau and Mélissa Roset, while Clio Rally5 was also victorious in the Rallye Montagne Noire with Damien Vaissière and Sébastien Romero.

Elsewhere in France, Clio Rally3 and Clio Rally5 dominated the Rallye des Vins de Vernou, with duos Antoine Bordagaray and Alan Autegarden, and Quentin Mathey and Théo Mallet. Lastly, Clio Rally3, Clio Rally4, and Clio Rally5 all won at Rallye de la Plaine des Vosges, with the crews of Fabrice Martin and Lionel Dugravot, Vincent Forès and Pascaline Darras, and Louis Bottin and Titouan Andreux.

And elsewhere…

Clio Rally3 and Clio Rally4 shone in Finland at the HYAcenter Rally, with Ville Vatanen and Jarno Ottman on the overall podium and Rio Ogata and Mikael Korhonen winning their class. Clio Rally3 also set the pace in Belgium with Michaël Nuée and Emelyne Delpire’s 4/13 success at the B-Short Solre-Saint-Géry.

Clio Rally4 continued its fine run in Sweden with another 2WD podium finish for Simon Andersson and Jörgen Jönsson, fourth overall in the Bilam Mästarmötet. Lastly, Clio Rally5 won again in Italy, with Francesco Beninati and Giuseppe Buscemi on the roads of the Rally Valle del Belice.
