• Renault and Alpine Racing confirm the development of Clio Rally3, the first four-wheel drive Clio to be designed jointly by the Viry-Châtillon teams, the Manufacture Alpine Dieppe Jean Rédélé and BWT Alpine F1 Team’s Enstone factory.
• The initial development programme is now complete with more than 4.500 kilometres of testing with experienced profiles and competitors from both Clio Trophy France Asphalte and Terre.
• The model is currently undergoing the FIA Rally3 homologation process with the Fédération Internationale de l’Automobile, which is expected to be completed in April, paving the way for its competition debut in the spring.
• Clio Rally3 will be unveiled on 15 January 2023 at the Pas de la Casa Circuit (Andorra).

Initiated on 24 May 2022, the initial development programme for the Rally3 version of the Renault Clio concluded a few days ago in Spain.

Over 22 full days of testing, the model completed more than 2.500 kilometres on tarmac and more than 2.000 kilometres on gravel with extremely positive levels of performance and reliability. Eight drivers and eleven co-drivers, both experienced and from Clio Trophy France Asphalte and Terre, took part in the tests of this version vying for FIA homologation for Rally3, stepping stone for four-wheel drive cars in FIA’s Rally Pyramid.
