The beginning of the season was long overdue, but you kept busy...
As we couldn’t race during the lockdown, I made the most of it by joining an Indonesian esport team, HM Engineering, with whom I won the LMP2 category in the 24-Hours of Le Mans on iRacing. I was also invited by Renault Sport Racing to compete in the Formula Renault Esport Series. It was a fine experience that allowed me to race against real drivers, keep the pace and get on top of things such as race management.

How do you assess your first weekend in Clio Cup France ?
It was very positive with a fourth place and two wins in the Junior category. We were also able to battle with drivers who have a lot of experience. I was impressed with our pace in race one as I closed up to the third-place and that motivates me all the more for the future. I have my sights set on the Junior title, and now I will try to make it into top five overall, maybe even the top three !

Why did you choose the Clio Cup ?
Last year, I raced in 308 in a smaller and less competitive field for a much larger budget. With New Clio Cup, everyone starts from scratch and I said to myself with BRS Racing Team that it was the right time. With the crisis we all received our cars relatively late, which makes it even fairer. And with 27 drivers on the grid, it promised more racing battles and I love that !

What are your long-term goals ?
The Clio Cup is a good springboard that is allowing me to contest my first full season in racing. The battles are similar to those in TCR Europe, so I would love to take the leap before a career in WTCR if it goes well. I like front-wheel drive cars, so it would be great to continue in this way. My team also has the ambition to go endurance racing in the next five years, so the 24 Hours of Le Mans could be another opportunity !
