Deeply committed to the development of young drivers and the strengthening of links between its different competition activities, Renault Sport Racing will for the fifth year in a row ensure the presence of the Formula Renault Eurocup at a Formula 1 Grand Prix.

Despite the legendary Monaco Grand Prix being cancelled earlier in the season, the Formula Renault Eurocup will still have the chance to race alongside Formula 1 this year. On Saturday October 31st and November 1st, the Formula Renault Eurocup competitors will have the honour to battle in front of the motorsport pinnacle on the first ever Emilia-Romagna F1 Grand Prix at the Autodromo Enzo e Dino Ferrari d’Imola.

Following the Spa-Francorchamps round, this new meeting in Italy will be part of the end of the season sprint which will feature four back-to-back race weekends that will decide who will win the 2020 Formula Renault Eurocup and join the Renault Sport Academy.
