R.S. Days Le Castellet 2020
The major event for the Renault Sport customer community and all those passionate about circuit racing will go ahead in 2020 on the Paul Ricard circuit at Le Castellet. Despite the continuing health crisis, the event has been confirmed for 3 and 4 October, to the delight of fans.
The Renault Sport Cars customer community and motorsport enthusiasts have been waiting for the news : The R.S. Days France have been rescheduled for 3 and 4 October for their second edition on the Paul Ricard circuit in Le Castellet. There is an exciting weekend of racing ahead with, on the programme, on the magnificent Formula 1®-standard Var track, the Clio Cup France, the Alpine Cup and the GT4 races, as part of the 3rd round of the French Circuit Championship. In addition to the pleasure of attending these particularly hard-fought races, Renault Sport offers fans and owners of models from the sports range various packages here (from July 17th) :

- Track Time Pack : for owners of R.S. models who will be able to drive on the track for a few laps between races. They will enjoy the unique sensations offered by the Var circuit, including the emblematic Mistral Straight or the famous Double Droite du Beausset.
- Club Village Packs : for collectors of Renault sports cars or owners of more modern models, with participation in a major parade featuring Renault Spider collectors as guests of honour. The first 25 to register will be offered their place to celebrate the car’s 25th anniversary.
- Discovery Tour Pack : for all fans who simply want to take part in this event as an integral part of the Renault Sport community.
There will also be a wealth of activities, including a meeting with Laurent Hurgon, a special workshop with Renault Sport experts on F1®, and an introduction to Megane R.S. and R.S. Performance parts and accessories, games for all (simulators, batak reflexes games, etc.), and many other surprises. A Renault Sport test centre will also allow visitors to discover the range’s models in their natural element and take the wheel of the latest models, including the Clio E-TECH R.S. Line.
This is the second edition of the R.S. Days France organised on the Paul Ricard circuit, after a 2019 edition created following a first community event around the Clio Cup in 2018, which served as a blueprint for the major R.S. Days event. This year, the circuit is celebrating its half-century, with a rich history that includes some of the greatest moments in motor sports, and in which Renault played an integral part : the French Formula 1 Grand Prix in 1982 and 1983 were won there by René Arnoux and Alain Prost respectively in their single-seater with the mythical V6 turbo.
I'm looking forward to my first R.S. Days as Managing Director of Renault Sport Cars. It’s a unique opportunity to show the direct links between our racing cars and the models in our sports range, in the purest "from-track-to-road" spirit. The Le Castellet event is a happy return to the world of competitive racing after the forced break this spring, which will be followed by other incentives between now and the end of the year, notably with rallies in France with our Clio V Rally, the great inspiration for the Clio R.S. Line.
The R.S. Days are organised in various European countries, almost systematically as part of the Formula Renault Eurocup and Clio Cup championships. This year, in addition to the R.S. Days France in Le Castellet, another of these events will take place in Sweden on 17 August.
