Mégane R.S. RX lines up for DiRT Rally 2.0
DiRT Rally 2.0, the official videogame of the FIA World Rallycross Championship and widely described as the most immersive computerised off-road experience ever just got even better.
On March 24, 2020, a special Game of the Year Edition (GOTY) featuring the Standard Edition and all add-on content released over the last 12 months was made available for keen fans – and thanks to a new licensing agreement, the game also features the 2019 Mégane R.S. RX in its selection of cars.

Raced by GC Kompetition in the World Rallycross Championship, the RX is an off-road supercar based on the Renault Mégane IV and designed from the ground up in 2018 by Prodrive to meet the latest World RX regulations. It features a bespoke 600hp engine and several unusual features, including ‘in-board’ brakes, which enable the use of lighter upright assembly, and means that the car’s unsprung mass can be reduced.
The 2018 version of the Megane R.S. RX appeared in both the Standard and Deluxe editions of the game, but the 2019 model and liveries were previously only available as additional downloadable content (DLC) in the virtual DiRT Rally 2.0 world. That now changes with the 2019 Mégane R.S. RX available in the GOTY edition that allows gamers to carve their way through a selection of iconic rally locations from across the globe in some of the most powerful off-road vehicles ever made.

DiRT Rally 2.0 released in February 2019 is one of the most successful rally and rallycross games of all time and was recently nominated for a BAFTA in the category ‘Best British Game’.
Since the release of the Standard and Deluxe Editions of the game in 2019, DiRT Rally 2.0 has evolved with new cars and locations on a monthly basis, and the GOTY Edition will feature all post-launch content in a single package for the first time.
Gamers can take on iconic rally locations in countries such as Wales, Monte Carlo, Sweden, Germany, Greece, Finland and Scotland while racing legendary cars. The game will also feature the FIA World Rallycross Championship, with the 2018 and 2019 championships, cars, drivers and locations all available to play.
As well as the GOTY Edition, a new DiRT Rally 2.0 Colin McRae : FLAT OUT Pack allowing gamers to re-live 40 beautifully created scenarios from Colin McRae’s career will also be available for fans to download.
