With Alexandre Brossy’s crown in the Clio Trophy France Terre, Ronan Deslandes’s rallycross title, and another string of international successes, the Renault Clio range is proving its strength on all surfaces again as autumn sets in.
Clio Trophy France Terre & French Gravel Rally Championship
The Clio Trophy France Terre concluded its sixth edition on the special stages of Rallye Terre des Cardabelles. After a weekend full of twists and turns, Gaël and Marion Alquier secured their maiden victory in the all-Clio Rally5 competition. Grégory Scotto la Chianca and Pauline Compozieux, and Julien Ingrassia and Emma Bonnemort completed the podium. Alexandre Brossy and Sébastien Enjalbert finished fourth, joining the list of category champions : Quentin Ribaud, Florian Bouchonneau, Jean-Sébastien Vigion, Benjamin Boulenc, and Mika Rasoamaromaka.
On the same stages, Clio Rally3 secured a one-two in its class, with Dominique Bruyneel and Kenny Deroo finishing ahead of Sylvain and Mathieu Tamisier. Mattéo Chatillon, the 2023 Clio Trophy France Terre best Junior and a former official Clio Rally3 driver in the FIA World Rally Championship, also turned heads, claiming his first overall victory in the French Gravel Rally Championship.
French Rallycross Championship
2025 Clio Cup France Junior Champion Ronan Deslandes switched from Clio Cup to Clio RX and, in his first season, became the FFSA French Junior Rallycross Champion. The Normandy native went into the final round at Dreux with a six-point lead over his nearest rival. Although Gautier Sarhy gave it his all in a bid to win, he fell short by just one point. Behind them, Esteban Bouliou secured his first podium finish on debut.
Estonian Rally Championship
Clio Rally3 and Clio Rally4 both finished on the podium at the season finale of the Estonian calendar, the Saaremaa Rally. Their strong pace kept them in contention for victory for much of the rally, before Miko-Ove Niinemäe and Martin Valter ultimately settled for second place in the EMV3 class, as did Hiroya Minowa and Juho Koski-Lammi in the EMV4 class and the Junior category.
German Rally Championship
Clio Rally3 also enjoyed success on the German national scene with Timo and Jasmin Weigert, who led the way in the DRM’s Rally3 class at the ADAC 3-Städte-Rallye. This tarmac victory keeps their title hopes alive ahead of the final two rounds of the calendar. At the same event, Max Schumann and Ann Felke finished on the RC4 and two-wheel-drive podiums.
Greek Gravel Rally Championship
Clio Rally3 continued its strong record in Greece with another victory in the Greek Gravel Rally Championship. On the special stages of the Molon Lave Rally, based in Sparta, Petros Panteli and Antonis Chrysostomou topped the Rally3 field to secure their second win of the season. They also finished just off the overall podium, which Rally2 cars dominated.
French Rally Cup
With less than a week remaining before the French Rally Cup season finale, the range continued to excel across France. Clio Rally3 and Clio Rally5 in particular won their respective classes at Rallye National du Montbrisonnais, with Gérard Delorme - Sophie Bert and Christophe Monnin - Marc-Emilien Choudey.
On the regional scene, Clio Rally3, Clio Rally5 and Clio Rally6 set the pace at the Rallye Vallée de l’Homme – Périgord Noir with Thomas Couderc - Grégoire Cuevas, Laurent Salviat - Christophe Larequie and Mathis Boulanger - Noa Cordonnier. Dominik Dinkel and Michael Teufel took the first five stage wins before pacing themselves on the final timed sector to win by over 30 seconds. Clio Rally5 enjoyed similar success in its class, with Daniel and Sandra Wittner leading from start to finish in RC5.
