Customer Racing Activities – 2026/#15
Once again this past weekend, the four models in the Clio Rally range racked up a string of successes across all surfaces and terrains. With further victories across Europe and podium finishes as far afield as Indonesia, Renault continues to set the pace in every class it competes in.
Clio Trophy Spain Asfalto
Clio Trophy Galicia leader Miguel Gayoso triumphed at the Rallye La Llana to win round two of the Clio Trophy Spain Asfalto within the Spanish Tarmac Rally Championship, alongside his co-driver Alaitz Urkiola. This maiden win came ahead of the duo of Tomás Llinares and Alejandro Bonilla, competing together for the first time, and defending Clio Trophy Canarias champions Jesús Pérez and Aythami Díaz. The next round will be the Recalvi Rías Baixas Rally (3–4 July).

Austrian Rally Championship
Clio Rally3 and Clio Rally5 impressed at the Lavanttal Rally, round three of the Austrian Championship. Maximilian Lichtenegger and Bernhard Ettel finish third overall, first in RC3, ARCP, and the Austrian Cup aboard their Clio Rally3. The crews of Günther Knobloch and Erik Fürst, and Roland Stengg and Rebeka Kobal – winners of the Mitropa Rally Cup – completed a class podium dominated by Renault’s four-wheel-drive cars. Meanwhile, Italians Ivan Stival and Francesco Berdin were victorious in RC5 in their Clio Rally5.
Belgian Rally Championship
Renault continued its fine run in Belgium at the TAC Rally. Clio Rally3 dominated the stage wins at round two of the season to win in RC3, led by Benoit Verlinde and Bert Feys, whilst Thibaud Mazuin and Samuel Maillen completed a one-two for the model. The Flemish roads were also dominated by Clio Rally5 in RC5, with a lockout of the top five led by Alexander Derez and Barbara Vromman.
Dutch Rally Championship
Renault also enjoyed a successful start to the Dutch season at the Van Wieren Zuiderzee Rally. Clio Rally3 dominated its category with a sweep of the top four, led by Willem Wouter Overbeek and Renaldo Lier, who finished fourth overall. Clio Rally5 also shone on the tarmac stages, taking the top five positions in RC5 led by Max van Empel and Max Dijkmans. Lastly, Clio Rally4 secured a top-five finish in RC4 with Maurice Kuijstermans and Daan Tijink.
Italian Gravel Rally Championship
Manuele Stella and Sara Refondini triumphed in RC5 in their Clio Rally5 at Rally della Val d’Orcia, round two of the Italian Gravel Rally Championship, to increase their lead in the general classification. Meanwhile, Clio Rally3 also celebrated a podium finish on the special stages around Radicofani, with Ludwig Zigliani and Sara Montavoci coming third in the Trofeo Open Terra.
French Rally Cup
In France, Clio Rally3, Clio Rally4, Clio Rally5 and Clio Rally6 all won their respective classes at Rallye Val de Boutonne, thanks to the crews of Mathieu Raoult - Lodoïs Epagneaud, Thierry Landais - Morgan Lefebvre, Axel Guibert - Michaël Murzeau, and Clément Drouet - Julien Tellier. Meanwhile, Clio Rally3 and Clio Rally5 triumphed at Rallye Centre Alsace with Fabrice Martin - Romain Gavoye, fifth overall, and Louis Gass - Alison Girard.
On the regional front, Clio Rally3, Clio Rally4 and Clio Rally5 took the honours at Rallye de Venasque with the pairs Allison Viano - Guylaine Therry, Claude Benedetto - Patricia Benedetto and Jean-Michel Nicolas - Julie Troin. At Rallye du Balcon Est du Vercors, the same success was achieved, with Stéphane Vedelago - Stéphanie Latrémé, Frédéric Misiek - Valérie Misiek and Killian Marry - Adam Thouez.
Still in France, Clio Rally3 and Clio Rally5 were victorious at Rallye du Pays d’Olliergues with Gérard Delorme - Alexis Delorme, and Bastien Coste - Fabien Coste, and at Rallye du Quercy with Romain Auvert - Maxime Belivier, and Romain Branger - Charlotte Herlant. Lastly, Clio Rally5 triumphed with François and Tom Thoretton at Rallye des Salines, as well as with Quentin Mathey and Théo Mallet at Rallye Autocourse, where Clio Rally6 also dominated the FR6 class with Laurine Olivier and Théo Pallu.
And elsewhere
Clio Rally3 and Clio Rally5 set the pace in Italy, with the crews of Alessio Pollara - Gaspare Beninati, and Flavio Termine - Federico Termine at Rally Valle del Sosio ; Paola Fedi - Alessandro Massaro, and Marco Mori - Emanuele Dinelli at the Trofeo Maremma ; as well as Giacomo Perego - Francesco Cuter, and Michel Della Maddalena - Romano Belfiore at Rally Prealpi Orobiche.
Clio Rally4 excelled in Portugal with podium finishes for Rodrigo Correia and Miguel Sousa Azevedo at Rali da Praia as part of the Azores Rally Championship. Tiago Nunes and Nuno Nóbrega did the same in the Madeira Championship at Rali de Santana, where Clio Rally5 won in RC5 with Décio Perestrelo and Claúdio Gomes. Carlos Marreiros and Ricardo Barreto steered their Clio Rally5 to victory at Rali de Ourique.
Elsewhere, Clio Rally4 finished just off the podium with Igor Tomljanović and Tomislav Škreblin at the Croatia Rally as part of the World Rally Championship. Nicolas Vanderweerde and Thierry Closter won their class in a Clio Rally4 at the B-Short in Tenneville (Belgium), whilst the model took a podium finish in its category with Sakha Rahim and Muhammad Zaki Supriatna at the Sumatera Utara Sprint Rally (Indonesia). Lastly, Jiří Hladík and Veronika Teplá led a Clio Rally5 hat-trick in RC5 at the Rally Morava (Czech Republic).
