Customer Racing Activities – 2025/#25

The various versions of the Clio Rally continue to thrive on all surfaces in many countries. With victories and solid performances, Clio Rally3, Clio Rally4 and Clio Rally5 continued to rack up successes across Europe last weekend.

FIA World Rally Championship

Three crews lined up with Clio Rally3 for the start of the EKO Acropolis Rally, round seventh of the 2025 FIA World Rally Championship season. Among them, Efthimios Halkias and Nikos Komnos proved to be the fastest and most skilful at avoiding the hazards of the rocky and rough tracks of this motorsport landmark. The Greeks finished as the second-best representatives of their country but also fifth in WRC3 and sixth in RC3 despite facing a strong contingent of young hopefuls in the Junior WRC.

Belgian Rally Championship

The iconic roads of the Ardeca Ypres Rally saw the duos Christophe Merlevede − Giljan Vandromme and Benoit Verlinde − Bert Feys secure an RC3 1-2 for Clio Rally3. Joachim Dequeker and Jonas Vanderhaeghe were victorious in RC5 and the BRC Trophy in their Clio Rally5. In the Second Division Championship event, Filip Pyck and Michael Grave won by more than three minutes overall in their Clio Rally3, while Jeffrey Depuydt and Zebenzuí Marrero Trujillo took the RC5 win with Clio Rally5.

Danish Rally Championship

Clio Rally5 also won at Rally Aalborg, round two of the Danish season, with Jacob Egholm and Rikke Pilgaard Petersen, who finished fifth overall and led a Clio Rally5 sweep of the top seven in RC5. Clio Rally5 repeated the feat in the same class with Gert Marboe Jensen and Erik Larsen at Rallysprint Aalborg, where Clio Rally3 finished third overall and first in RC3 with Carsten Jensen and Michael Fasterholdt.

Slovenian Rally Championship

A joint event with the Alpe Adria Cup and the Central European Zone Rally Championship, the Rally Železniki saw Slovenians Mitja Glasenčnik and Matej Pistotnik win on home soil in D3 and CEZ2 in their Clio Rally3. Meanwhile, their compatriots Mitja and Nina Velkavrh led an all-Clio Rally5 podium in D1 and secured a lockout of the top four in class 5.

French Rally Cup

Clio Rally3, Clio Rally4 and Clio Rally5 triumphed at Rallye des Vins de Chinon et du Véron with Alexis Flambard and Florence Caucheteux (Rally3), Christopher Touvron and Ophélia Chaigne (Rally4) and Calvin Lucas and Julie Plat (Rally5). The Rallye de l’Huveaune also saw Clio Rally3 and Clio Rally5 take the honours with David Sauvaigo - Mathéo Fanget and Brice Droulin - Guillaume Tapias. Elsewhere in France, Clio Rally5 dominated its class with Christophe Monnin and Marc-Emilien Choudey at Rallye Saint-Etienne Forez and with Laurent Zambon and Romain Novotny at Rallye de Sauveterre - Vallée de la Lémance.

And elsewhere…

Clio Rally3 caused a sensation with the overall win at Rally Sobótka (Poland) with Michał Chorbiński and Adam Chrzanowski. Across the border, Clio Rally3 also distinguished itself with an overall runner-up finish and RC3 victory for Klaus Werner and Mika Jordan at the ADAC Visselrallye in the German Rally Cup.

Clio Rally3 and Clio Rally5 recorded more successes in Italy, with Valentino Ledda and Claudio Mele (Rally3 and Juniors) and Ugo Valdarchi and Giorgio Aricò (Rally5) at Rally Golfo dell’Asinara. Davide and Andrea Giordano, as well as Lorenzo Nesti and Federico Grilli did the same at Rally Montecatini Terme e Valdinievole, as did Ernesto Riolo - Rosario Terranova and Michele Cortese - Paolo Guttadauro at Rally di Caltanissetta.

Clio Rally4 was not to be outdone, with Vilma Kivenne and Leevi Jaakonsaari dominating their class at the PH-Peltiasennus Ralli (Finland), not to mention the top five in the general classification and the podium finish for Adruzilo Lopes and Paulo Leones at the Rally Taça Joaquim Santos (Portugal).
