Twingo GT discovers the delights of Parisian street art !

The trip began on the Quais de Seine, in front of the Austerlitz train station. This is where OFF, Paris’ premier floating hotel and bar, is moored.

First of all, the journalists headed for Boulevard Vincent Auriol, adorned with impressive frescoes by the Brooklyn-based artistic collaboration FAILE ("And I Held my Breath"), American artist Shepard Fairey ("Rise Above Rebel" and "A Delicate Balance") and Chilean artist, Inti. Next stop was Place de Vénétie, to admire the tallest fresco in Europe, created by Pantonio.

After returning to the banks of the Seine, the party then moved on to Paris’ famous ’Golden Triangle’ and stop off at the Renoma Café Gallery. In this cosy, urban setting, the decoration is inspired by New York street art and you can explore the latest trends in the art gallery.

With lunch digested, the party then crossed the 17th arrondissement, towards the former industrial wasteland of Batignolles. French entrepreneur and philanthropist Xavier Niel chose to set up his computer programming school, "École 42" in this up-and-coming district. The institution now hosts Nicolas Laugero Lasserre’s collection of urban art. By bringing together the work of around fifty artists, the exhibition manages to form an enigmatic link between street art and museum.
