Developed and introduced in 2019, the flagship model of Renault’s customer racing activities has benefited from all the savoir-faire of the Viry-Châtillon engineers and the Dieppe competition department to become a benchmark in rallying (Clio Rally5), on tracks (Clio Cup) and in rallycross (Clio RX) .

Despite the health crisis that has impacted the motorsport community, all the departments involved in the genesis and design of Clio RSR have shown unique flexibility to meet the demand that has followed its incredible commercial success.

In just ten short months, Renault has delivered 225 Clio RSRs across Europe and the world. Since Tuesday, the Dieppe teams have also begun production on Clio Rally4, designed to be the best performing two-wheel drive in its category.

With victorious rally debuts, full grids in the Clio Cup Europe and promising first appearances in rallycross, this new generation has also enjoyed immediate sporting success.

On the strength of this initial positive launch, Renault remains mindful of its customer’s expectations and will continue its ongoing optimisation process to consolidate its position as a benchmark for competing and winning wherever it races within a controlled budget.
