2018 Renault Sport Track days to take in five european circuit

Through the Renault Sport Track Days, Renault Sport gives its customers the chance to drive on prestigious tracks as part of a schedule with a very European flavour.

Operating in an adapted and safe environment supervised by professional instructors, the models of the R.S. range deliver their full potential.

The 2018 schedule features technical tracks that showcase the dynamism of the R.S. range.

A highlight of the services and events laid on for R.S. customers, Renault Sport Track Days prove a major success with track driving enthusiasts year after year.

Perfectly at ease on twisting roads, R.S. cars are also designed to perform on tracks. Supervised by a team of professional instructors, these events offer an environment in which the technologies developed in motorsport can be harnessed to their full potential.

This year’s schedule comprises five dates in all. After starting the season at Spa-Francorchamps, our customers will get to grips with Nevers Magny-Cours, another track made famous by Formula One. The summer months will see the Renault Sport Track Days make a first ever visit to the Bilster Berg, an undulating track situated in the heart of Germany. The summer ends with a trip to Le Mans, with the European season then coming to a close at Austria’s Red Bull Ring, just as it did last year.

Renault Sport Track Days begin with a safety briefing, after which the drivers are split into three groups based on their ability. The groups swap over every 20 minutes, with each driver enjoying two hours of driving over the course of the day.

Customers looking to perfect their driving technique can have a driver/instructor sit alongside them in the passenger seat and pass on advice in real time. There’s also the chance to enjoy a thrilling hot lap in the Clio Cup or the Renault Sport R.S.01, a simply unforgettable experience.

And between driving sessions there are a whole host of activities laid on off the track. Customers have the opportunity, among other things, to meet Renault Sport’s technical experts at the track. Participants also have access to a New Megane R.S. test centre, while existing and prospective customers can also test drive the car at specialist Renault Sport dealers.
